In Barbara Walker's The Woman's Dictionary of Symbols and Sacred Objects, Walker identified the symbol shown as The Dragon's Eye. She reports that it forms a triple triangle, sacred to the Goddess, and that this symbol appears often in medieval books of magic, to invoke the protection of female spirits and entities.

The Dragon's Eye is an equilateral triangle pointing downward with a "Y" in the middle connecting the three points of the triangle together. According to Carl G. Liungman's Dictionary of Symbols, it combines the triangle meaning threat and the "Y" meaning a choice between good and evil.
Se trata de un antiguo símbolo celta de protección y se utiliza de la misma manera que otros "ojos" se utilizan en símbolos.
